A Few of Our Accomplishments
Community Crime Map
New for 2026, the Sheriff's Community Crime Map provides citizens with near real-time access to reported crime across the county. This transparent tool promotes awareness, prevention, and partnership by keeping our community informed and engaged.
Hurricane Helene Response
Our law enforcement response to Hurricane Helene focused on saving lives, assisting neighbors, and standing shoulder to shoulder with our community. Deputies worked around the clock during devastation, proving that we serve not just as officers, but as neighbors.
Inmate Medication-Assisted Treatment Program
The MAT Program provides treatment for substance use disorder within the Detention Center by combining approved medication, counseling, and reentry support to reduce relapse, improve recovery, and promote safer, healthier communities.
Implementation for ICAC - Internet Crimes Against Nature
A collaborative effort with partner agencies to enhance child protection, investigate internet crimes, and hold offenders accountable. This initiative strengthens enforcement and helps ensure those who harm children are brought to justice.
